Address and directions

Use imaging to assess the need for surgery and further care

Healing Animal Hospital (힐링동물병원) treats dogs and cats at 112 Sinhang-ro, Hyangchon-dong, Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do. Its cases include ultrasound assessment and surgery for an older dog with pyometra, and X-ray assessment and removal of an intestinal foreign body in a vomiting dog. It connects the location of an abnormality and the patient’s condition with surgical decisions and subsequent observation.

In June 2026, the hospital announced introduction of a GenBody G20V test reader. Its explanation concerned reading feline herpesvirus and calicivirus rapid-antigen test reactions numerically with a dedicated device. Test results are considered alongside the owner’s observations and examination findings when deciding on treatment or further assessment.

Assess an older dog’s uterus by ultrasound before surgery

A case published on 28 May 2026 concerned a ten-year-old female dog with reduced appetite and activity. Taking account of the dog’s age and unspayed status, the hospital performed ultrasound and assessed the condition as pyometra, an accumulation of pus in the uterus.

Preoperative blood tests showed no major abnormality, but the hospital discussed anaesthetic concerns associated with the patient’s age with the owner. Surgery followed that discussion and addressed the swollen, pus-filled uterus. The dog was observed in hospital and later discharged.

Use X-rays and surgery for an object that has reached the intestine

A case published on 20 May 2026 involved a dog with reduced appetite and activity and ongoing vomiting. The hospital considered the signs together and took X-rays, which showed that the object had already reached the intestine. It proceeded with surgery.

A small stone was found in the intestine and removed. The patient was discharged after about three days in hospital.

Assess feline respiratory signs together with the eyes

On 17 June 2026, the hospital explained that it evaluates feline respiratory signs such as sneezing, nasal discharge and eye discharge together with the condition of the eyes, using appropriate tests to decide on care. Its assessment considers discomfort around the eyes and nose, oral changes and appetite rather than assigning a cause from one visible sign.

The hospital described treatment and management as depending on eye damage, appetite and the cat’s overall condition.
